Wake to the sounds of the farm coming to life, with cows being milked and chickens wandering freely past the barn doors. Take your morning slowly with a farm breakfast, with fresh farm eggs, homemade yoghurt, farm honey and other ingredients provided for you to prepare and enjoy at your own pace.

There is no set itinerary at Langskuur. Wander along the quiet farm roads by foot or by bike, visit the farm’s art gallery, relax in the plunge pool, bake something in the farm-style kitchen, or settle into a peaceful corner of the Secret Garden to read and listen to the rich birdlife.

At the end of the day, watch the sun settle over the dam before sitting down to a hearty dinner from Kortskuur, if you wish to include a Kortskuur meal in your stay.

Langskuur has a minimum two-night stay.

The farm is approximately an hour’s drive from George Airport, with the entire route to the farm on paved roads.

Langskuur is largely self-catering accommodation. However, complimentary farm produce is provided, including milk, yoghurt, butter, cheese, fresh eggs and farm honey. Kortskuur dinners can also be booked in advance as part of your stay.

Langskuur accommodates a maximum of four guests, and we accept just one booking at a time. Therefore you won't be sharing your stay with other guests.

All bookings include two bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is also an additional outdoor shower.

The farm-style kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, stand mixer, espresso machine and coffee plunger.

The barn also has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor portable wood braai (barbecue stand). Please note that the barn does not have a TV.

As Langskuur is located on a working dairy farm with free-roaming chickens, unfortunately, no children under 12 or pets are allowed.
